Don't discard the old just to have the newest

I was cleaning out our cabinet the other day and I came across several video ipods. It was just a few years ago that we were so excited about the multiple uses of this device. Now they are sitting on a shelf and almost forgotten over the hype of the latest technology, the ipad. But wait before you discard the old just to have the newest and best. Think about why you invested in the video ipod to begin with. Was it for audio text, recording reminders, visual picture schedules, video modeling or alarm functions? You can still use the ipods for these features and at half the cost and half the bulk of carrying around the ipad.
