On-line training from Mayer-Johnson
We are hearing more and more from our school divisions that budget cuts have taken a toll on professional development opportunities. As we are trying to develop AT teams within our school divisions, we need to find a creative way to make sure that our school personnel have a background knowledge regarding the various forms of AT. Mayer Johnson and Dynavox are now offering on-line training on both the Dynavox and Boardmaker products. Presentations can be viewed in "real time" as well as viewed in the archieve section. This is a great way to train staff on site without the cost of travel and substitutes. Check out the offerings at this website..
