I heard an interesting presentation from a company who prints books in a format that is individualized for each reader. It’s made to order reading material, available in five days! Their website http://www.readhowyouwant.com provides various different print formats and samples are available. Do you need large print, easy read print, specialized print or print to help with English language learning? All of these options are available! Check out their website for more information!

Interesting story from the website:
"[Founder] Stephen’s sister who suffers from MS, developed a difficulty reading. Stephen experimented with different formats to see if his sister could be helped by changing the format of the books she was reading, and found she could be helped. Stephen then experimented with other formats to see if other reading disabilities could be assisted by changing the format of the text. He realized that additional visual information about character or word order could be added to the text and this did help some people with reading disabilities. Other formats were experimented with as well and they also offered useful applications.
The big question was how to generate these formats cost effectively. Stephen and another CLS colleague, Greg Duncan, realized that it was possible to create a new kind of publishing system where books could be adjusted to suit the reader on an individualized basis. Objective Systems Pty Ltd, an R&D company, was formed and after more than 4 years, a system was developed that could deliver personalized formats commercially. ReadHowYouWant.com Pty Ltd, the marketing company, was then formed. Objective Systems Pty Ltd has been extensively supported by the Australian and NSW Governments through the awarding of competitive grants and awards. Stephen has degrees in Science (Mathematics and Physics), Economics and Law from the University of Sydney."
