A View of Second Life through ISTE

In a recent edition of Education Week's Digital Directions, mention is made about the new Second Life island for the International Society for Technology in Education. Second Life is an emerging virtual world technology. Users are guided throughout this virtual and interactive web-based experience with a persona avatar or "virtual guide on the side".
