Your story will be entered into a drawing and the winner will receive a visit from Don Johnston to your school and he will talk with you students. The contest ends Sept. 3, 2007. So check out the website and start writing!

Building Wings inspired many struggling students to write to Don Johnston to share their feelings. He posted letters on his site from teachers and students. It's wonderful to see educators creating student self-advocacy models using Don's book! He has spent 30 years developing tools and technologies to help kids become confident learners and better readers and writers. Don also provides free lessons and student materials for teachers to create a Building Wings Readers Theater for kids.
